Over the last few months I have had the oppertunity to bake a few cakes so I decided to be a little more creative than I have in past. Most of the cakes turned out good.

This is my first and only cake using fondant and it was alright. The fam that out it was cool.

Aspen's 8th bday Kitty cake, tried to make him look like her kitty at home and I kind of succeeded. I actually had fun with one, it took 3 hours!

PA school interview!!!

So, this is actually my third year applying to PA school and while that is a little depressing I am very excited because I just invited in interview in Orlando!!! Guess I might be moving back to Florida!

long weekend

For some reason I thought it was a good idea to take Friday, the 4th, off and make my 3 day weekend a 4 day weekend. I thought I would make some plans, take a trip maybe... Nope didn't do that but even with my 'no plans long weekend' I have still done quite a bit. I've make 9 jars of freezer jam from blackberries I picked myself, attended 2 BBQ's, watched the beaver game, made a blackberry crisp, finish shopping for niece's school supplies, piss my brother off and saw a friend I hadn't seen in a year. So, I also did a lot of sitting around but this quite a lot considering I had no plans and no work this weekend.

This my little Annalise, well not so little anymore. She turned 3 this summer, I got her the dress she is wearing for her birthday. Isn't just a doll? She was only 13 months when I became her nanny. Miss that kid.
