My heart...

Well, it's fine. Basically I have these 'skipped' heart beats but they are not really skipped it just feels that way and everyone has them at some point but I just have a whole lot more on a daily basis. Not sure what normal is but I had like 4300 the day I was wearing the heart monitor, which lefts marks for like 4 days after I took it off!
So, now I just have to stop drinking caffeine and start exercising more or I could just take some pills but I am trying to be a grown up about it and just stop drinking caffeine. I think I am in for two weeks of solid headaches. Suck.

Gettin' My Ticker Checked

On Monday I am going to the doctor to get my heart checked. I'm pretty sure I have an irregular heartbeat. The heart below shows how a normal heart is suppose to beat. Mine doesn't always do that. Some it forgets to beat. So it should be fine, I might just need to take some medication from now on and stop drinking caffine but that's all.

And this is what a real heart looks like. Cool, huh?

Back in the Good Old Days

I wanted to post something so I thought I would put up some old photos. They aren't the best quality but they are still a little fun.
This is me as a baby, maybe like 10 or 11 months. Yea, I was a little chubby baby. One of those bottom teeth got yanked out by a boat via my mother a couple of months after this photo was taken. I know I was a little accident prone. I also lost some with teeth with the help of the train at Avery Park.
Okay so here we have me, on the left, Bethany (Lindell) Hara right and next to her is Nathan whom I haven't seen in like 20 years. Beth had cut her own bangs a little before this picture.

Me and Beth again with her little brother David at the Oregon Coast. I'm sure it was a lot colder than it looks.

And the final picture, I think that I am like 6 here. I don't remember this picture being taken but I know it's at my Grandma's house because she still has that couch.

Fun Pics!

The following are just some crazy pictures from the last couple of weeks. I don't know what else to say.
My nephew was a little serious with this water gun.
Okay so I got this wig in Italy during Carnivale and the kids love to play with it.

Even my brother had a good time with it.

And my nephew too, with a baby doll.

And this is Libby holding Betty--yes that's a real tarantula.
She's my dad's but you can hold her if you want.

the story of my job

Okay, so on Sept 30th I interviewed for this job and then a couple days later I had a second interview, they both went well. So a few days after that I called to check on the job and was told that they were just about to call me to offer me the job so I said great when do I start, note it's still only like Oct. 4th. At this point I was told okay so human resources has to do some paper work and then you can start. The next orientation is the Monday, Oct. 13 you should be about to start then. So up to this point I had been doing swimming lessons so I let the pool know I would be starting my job and I quit babysitting too. Then I waited for the phone call to tell me that I could start working and it never came. So I called again and was told HR still had to do my paperwork so almost a months after my interview I started working this past Thursday.

So, a few weeks ago my cousins' kids were over at the house and Eli, he's 2, attempted to ride this little bike with a helmet that was...a little too big. Needless to say he didn't make it out of the drive way.

I am not usually very political but I wanted to show my support. To be honest though, if I had it my way I would just make Sarah Palin President!

bad news

Just found out a friend of mine was killed by a roadside IED, improvised explosive device, in Iraq. It sucks. I was beginning to think that things in the middle east were getting better, I was wrong.

8 years later..

Well, I made it to Oregon. I can't believe it's been eight years since I left home. I mean I've visited of course but it's been exactly eight since I left home to join the army. I'm even staying in my old room which looks very different that it did when I left. I currently have hello kitty curtains courtesy of my niece. Not sure what I'm going to do now that I'm here....

Leaving Florida...

Only a few days before I leave for Oregon and I think it has finally hit me that I'm really leaving. I leave Tuesday and I'm driving all the way there! Yea, should be fun. I'm so sad to leave though. Actually, I am not sorry to leave this weather behind--it's way too hot here. I can't wait to where a hoodie outside and not just in the movie theater because of the air conditioning. I can't wait to see snow again, well not much but some. Oh and no more hurricanes!!! I'm not sorry to leave Disney either, never cared much. Rollercoaster make me sick.

What's happening.........

I graduated!!

Yep, just graduated college. Kinda took forever, okay it was only 4 years. Now that I have a degree I can't find a good job and definitely not one where I get to use my degree but I guess that's normal
I'm about to move back home to Corvallis, OR until I get in to physician's assistant school. Didn't get in this year but I'm determined to apply until they accept me! Yes, I am moving back in with my parents (gulp). Haven't lived with them since I left home at 18 so it might actually be fun... or something.

Not sure where I am going to get job. Maybe I'll do substitute teaching, who knows? Anyone hiring?
