a little discouraged...
i kind of stopped blogging because i didn't think anyone read it but i decided to give it another try. i just saw a friends picture on facebook and she just finished her first year of PA school and she got her white coat. So when i saw the picture of her in the coat i was excited for her but really sad for myself. Getting into PA school is hard and frustrating and i want to give up. Unfortunately that isn't an option because as frustrated and discouraged as i am i hate where i am in life more. i have a mediocre job, i live my parents where i sleep in a bunk bed and i have a degree that is no good. PA school is my only hope but it's not exciting as it once was........ I really want to start my pracitce before i'm 40!

Interview #2
The interview at Western went well. I really like the school and my grandparents offered to let me stay with them. I hope I get in!

Well the interview is over
Had the interview for PA school today and well it was not my best work. I felt confident going into the interview. Oh and lucky me I got to be interviewed by the DIRECTOR of the program and another professor. So, the director tried to suggest that I didn't know what a PA is!!! I was like I have spent over a $1000 trying to get into PA school and it's not because I don't know what a PA does!!! Okay so I didn't actually say that but I thought it. The whole thing wasn't a bust though, they seemed impressed by my military record and my experience as a medical assistant and I did get them to laugh, kinda.
Well, can't do anything now but hope for the best! Cross your fingers!
